Animal Variety

Here the total number of mangrove tree is about 50 kinds and also grow another 280 kinds of vascular tree. All of the tree are type evergreen. Main tree are Sundari (Heritiera fomes), Goran (Ceriops decandra), keora (Sonneratia apetala), Geua ( Excoecaria agallocha) etc .There is herb tree in sundar ban named Tiger Furn. In bengali it is called Hetal Forest (Phoenix pelludosa). Tigers take rest in the coppice (bush) of that tree. Another very useful tree for people is Golpata( Nipa fruticans). In animal there live 50 kinds of mammal,315 kinds of bird,53 kinds of reptile,120 kinds of fish and 8 kinds of amphibious.
