As Tourist Spot

Besides the sundarban there is the bay of Bengal in the southern side.There is some spot in sundarban.The first is koromjol, then hironpoint, kotka,Dublaschor (Dubla island). There are also many small island in sundarban.Only in Dublaschor fishermen lives in the dry season.But in rainy season the turn back to there own loving place.Some honey collector also lives in that place.But in other island only people of government forest lives there. In rainy season all the island is swap by tidal water.The kotka  is fixed with the sea.It has a coast.By visiting sundarban people can enjoy both the wideness of sea and the seclusion of forest.Besides  kotka there lives no man around eighty to hundred kilometers.

Animal Variety

Here the total number of mangrove tree is about 50 kinds and also grow another 280 kinds of vascular tree. All of the tree are type evergreen. Main tree are Sundari (Heritiera fomes), Goran (Ceriops decandra), keora (Sonneratia apetala), Geua ( Excoecaria agallocha) etc .There is herb tree in sundar ban named Tiger Furn. In bengali it is called Hetal Forest (Phoenix pelludosa). Tigers take rest in the coppice (bush) of that tree. Another very useful tree for people is Golpata( Nipa fruticans). In animal there live 50 kinds of mammal,315 kinds of bird,53 kinds of reptile,120 kinds of fish and 8 kinds of amphibious.

Introducing Sundarban

Sundarban is the largest mangrove (Tidal water flow in which forest)  forest on the earth situated in southern Bangladesh at the coast of Bay of Bengal .It was named after the tree sundary (fairy or beautiful woman or nymphs) .It is famous for containing the world famous ROYAL BENGAL TIGER (strongest tiger ).The area of sundarban is  6017 square kilometers with numerous number of wide and narrow river.It very charmful and enjoyable to see that the rivers are  warp round the whole forest like cobweb (spider web). If you come here for traveling  you will find it as a magical forest.Traveling here you can enjoy the forest and sea-swimming both.

In sundar ban some people live permanently there.They cultivate there,collect honey,fishes there,business with golpataeta. Golpata is a one kind of tree whose leaf is like betel-nut leaf.People make roof of house by golpata.In suit season people from many place come to collect golpata and deals with it.

People from all over the country  come here to collect honey. There are some  small island where people live for some season not in rainy season.They catch fish there and sell that all over the countr.y

ROYAL BENGAL TIGER

Royal Bengal Tigeris the most ferocious and strong tiger on the earth.It can broke the head(skull) of an adult man like an egg shell and can walk soundlessly over dry leaves.In dark night it's eyes are seemed as two light as brighht big fire-fly. It is found in the forest sundarban  at Bangladesh.
The length of male tiger is  190 to 205 cm (75 to 81 in), with out tail and weight is  over 250 kg.And a tigress is about 165 cm (65 inch) without tail with a average  weight of  140 kg.
